06.28.05 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOLLY!. Upcoming Site Stuff.
Although Holly is away at government school for a few weeks, I want to wish her a happy 17th birthday! Holly is the best webmaster EVER and I hope she has an awesome birthday! :) Over the course of the next three weeks, I will be doing a bunch of stuff with the site. This will include some new MP3s, ring tone codes, more factoids, a quotes page, some more site items, a new photo gallery, and much, much more! We will be getting back on track with the Fan of the Week and Viewer Advisory... This means I will post a new FOTW tomorrow (so send in those last-minute applications!) and a new VA question on Friday (also send in your answers for the WMUWSE video VA!) We didn't make to much with the Google ads last week ($10) but that's better than nothing! Please click those ads! We need money to buy things/ pay for the site. Thank you to all those who have! 06.27.05 - Poll/Site Application. Song Meanings.
Well, I'm workin' all alone this week, so please bare with me! I fixed the poll on layout 1 (because it was not working) so if you tried to vote on layout 1, do it again - it should work now! Don't forget to send those applications for a job at the site in! Check out the form here! I also finally finished making the Song Meanings page, check it out! There is not much Green Day news, but it seems like the Live 8 director said that the bands playing the Berlin show (yes, that includes Green Day) might have to pay for the show themselves, because the lack of interest and support from banks to fund the show. That's alittle weird and in my opinion, a little unfair... Well thats all the news I have for you all today! I have a lot of stuff planned for the next 3 weeks, so be ready for new stuff! Oh yeah! 06.22.05 - DVD. Driven. Site ads.
More info on the Milton Keynes DVD is available here from MTV. VH1 will be airing Driven: Green Day on June 29th. More info here. Also, we've put ads on the site because we really need money to pay for certain services. So we ask you to please simply click on the ads, that is all you have to do. We receive money when people click. Kevin and I do not profit from the site, all of the money we receive will go to getting rid of pop ups and to pay for the services we use. Thank you so much!
06.20.05 - Milton Keynes DVD.
Green Day played for two sell-out crowds at the Milton Keynes
Bowl on Saturday (18th) and Sunday (19th). These two shows were being recorded
for the upcoming DVD, Green Day Live in Milton Keynes! They guys did
awesome and I'm sure the DVD is going to be one hell of a DVD. I am happy that
Green Day are finally going to release an official tour DVD. Green zzDay kept the
set to the familiar selection of songs they have been playing this past year. As
expected, during Operation Ivy's 'Knowledge', they brought three punters up on
stage to play their instruments and sent the substitute bass player crowd
surfing back into the crowd. Below is the set list they played :

Green Day are on the cover of Kerrang! and NME which is pretty cool :) Also, there are rumors that Adrienne (that is Billie's wife, of course!) is pregnant... We do not know if this is true and it could possibly JUST be a rumor! If there is more info, we will let you know. Finally, although this is old, GDA pointed out that the IFC will be playing the full "Jesus of Suburbia" video on July 9th at 11:30PM (time zone is unavailable!) Check out all the info over here! 06.08.05 - New Layout Soon. Dead Zone Until Then.
Sorry about the lack of updates! Holly and I are working on a brand new layout for the site... It should look awesome and is coming out really cool so far! I will post a preview over the weekend and the layout should be up (hopefully) on Monday! During this time period, we will not be doing much with the rest of the site... We are very sorry about this, but the new layout will be worth it... There will be no new fan of the week this week, but we will have two next week! Again, sorry but you will all enjoy it in the end! Hello
all of my loyal Green Day fanatics! There isn't too much Green Day news to talk
about, so I will talk about site news! First off, Holly and I would like to
congratulate our 3RD FAN OF THE WEEK - Elise! There were so many great
applications - keep sending them in! Don't forget to answer the Viewer Advisory,
we will be changing the question on Friday! Finally, I re-did the tour page and
Holly is working on finishing the Midis. By the end of the weekend we will have
two (or more) new pages : Song Meanings and Factoids... Keep coming back to
1039SC, Holly and I really appreciate all of your support! Bye!
UPDATED: The tag board has been taken down. People were filling up the
tag board with useless stuff like "jkdjd"! This is not what a tag board it for,
people! I am not upset, but the tag board won't be coming back any time soon -
believe me! :-\

Ok, it's been awhile and there is a ton of Green Day news.
Green Day is up for 2 Much Music Video
Awards (MMVA). They are nominated twice for Best International Video -
Group for American Idiot and Boulevard of Broken Dreams and they are also up for
the People's Choice - Favorite International Group for Boulevard of Broken
Dreams. You can vote for the People's Choice and get more information
about the MMVA here.
Also, Green Day's first tour bus is up
for sale on ebay! Check out pictures and buying information here. The auction ends June 7th around 11:15
PM.
Green Day is also in the new issue of
Guitar Legends with Billie Joe featured on the cover. It's a big article,
we will try to have it up soon.
The WMUWSE single is going to be released
in Europe June 13th. There are two different CD versions and a vinyl that
will be released with the following tracklistings:

05.28.05 - New MP3's. Tagboard Info.!
I got a few new live covers and posted them in the MP3's section! The news ones are "99 Red Balloons," "Teenage Lobotamy/Blitzkreig Bop," "German Song for David," "Mohogamy," and "My Way!" They are all pretty cool so go check them out... Holly and I also decided that it would be best to move the poll back to the homepage and put the tag board on a different page. We came to this decission because everyone was only using the tag board to express how hot Billie is. The tag board link is now under fan in the navigational bar. Ok - that's all - Bye!

Holly and I have worked hard to get up all the pages that were previously under construction! So, this morning I finished up the fonts page here! We also posted the Viewer Advisory last night!
