01.28.06 - End of AI Era. FOTW. TWHT.
- Here is the update from GreenDay.com summing up the "American Idiot Era"
Punk rock luminaries Green Day have officially ended the touring cycle for their
masterpiece American Idiot. The band who have been touring in suppo

taking time off before beginning work on their next studio album. Green Day's
multi-platinum American Idiot was released on September 21, 2004 and debuted at

around the world. Weeks later the album returned to the Number One chart
position in the US and many of the same countries across the globe. Months after
the release of the album, Green Day made radio history by becoming the first
rock band to reach #1 on six radio charts simultaneously with their smash
"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams." Green Day was recently voted Favorite Group at the
32nd Annual People's Choice Awards on January 10th in Los Angeles. The band won
the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in February of 2005, and is currently
nominated for Record Of The Year at this year's Grammy's taking place on

01.24.06 - Where's Billie?. Articles. Site News.
-
Sorry for not updating in a while! There's not too much news to report lately,
but Billie Joe failed to show up to the premiere of his
movie debut, "Live Freaky! Die Freaky!" on January 17th. The unexplained absence
of Billie, who is the voice of lead character CHARLIE HANSON,
prompted producer
TIM ARMSTRONG to yell "Billie Joe, where are you?" after performing with his
punk band RANCID at the after-show party.
- There are two articles about the People's Choice Awards: Article 1 | Article 2
- We have not forgotten about the 1039 Sweet Children

1.17.06 - JOS on Billboard. Combat Zone. Vh1's Crazy Concert Moments.
"Jesus of Suburbia" is currently number 27 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart.
Speaking of 'JOS,' the music video has retired from Canada's Combat Zone after
winning five times in a row! This makes 'JOS' the fourth video to retire off of
"American Idiot." 'WMUWSE' was the only video that did not retire because it
lost to Sum 41's "Some Say." In other news, Green Day landed at #40 on VH1'S '40
Craziest Concert Moments' for their performance at Woodstock in '94 (Mudstock).
That is all the Green Day news for today! Oh yeah! I almost forgot ; This week
is the last week to vote on
Survivor; BOTS! The song with the most votes on Sunday wins! Go over
and vote for your favorite song!

1.03.06 - NEW LAYOUT !
Hey everyone! You must have noticed that the new layout is FINALLY up! What do you think? Please post comments and tell us (good and bad criticism are both helpful.) Holly and I worked really hard on the layout and we hope that all of you enjoy it. Let us know if there is any way to improve the layout. Also - vote on the new poll to let us know what you think. We aware that not all of the pages have the layout colors and some links may be broken - we are working on that and should be finished by the end of the week. The colors are not urgent, so the pages should still work fine (let us know if otherwise)! :) So yeah, beside some of the color problems, enjoy the layout! Site updates will be going back to normal soon - we are sorry about the layout delay that stretched out for a while... Okay - comment! :) Oh yeah, and you may have noticed that the tagboard is back - please DO NOT abuse it and don't post stupid stuff!!! Thanks!
