At Lunchtime Tara and Tre` were waiting for Billie and Mike outside the cafeteria. “Lunchtime!” Tre` wails. “I know Tre` calm down”, Billie says. “It’s Taco Day Billie, he’s very excited.” Tara says flatly. Mike and Billie both laugh. “So how are you Tara?” Mike asks. Tara looks over and smiles for the first time acknowledging his presence, “Fine thanks, how’s your first day been so far?” “Boring.”, He laughed. “Yeah, well, that’s pretty much how Rodeo is.”, she said with a shrug. “Umm, guys, I’m gonna skip lunch today.”, Billie says randomly. “How come?”, Tara asks. “I’m flunking English, so I need to go to the library.” “You the Great Billie Joe Study?!?”, Tre` said with an astonished face. Billie rolled his eyes, “Yes Tre`, you should run along before you get the crusty tacos.” “OH CRAP LETS GO” Tre` yelled grabbing Tara’s hand, while she grabbed Mike’s as Tre` ran into the lunchroom with the two of them trailing behind and laughing. By the time they got into the lunch line they had managed to trample two freshmen and get dentition on Friday for running through the Cafeteria. Tre`, Tara, and Mike got there food and sat down at a near-by table. “Yummy!” Tre`, Said happily stuffing half of the taco in his mouth. Tara sighed and shook her head, taking a bite out of her taco. “This is it Mike make your move…” he said to himself. He placed his hand on her leg gently stroking it with his thumb. Tara’s eyes widened to the size of a hoot owl’s,

“What are you doing?!?”, She hissed quietly trying not to attract attention. 

“Exactly what it looks like.”, he replied shortly,

“You know you like it anyways.” he finished.

“I most certainly do not!” She gasped.

 “Then why haven’t you made me stop?” Mike asked with a cheesy grin.

She opened her mouth as though to say some thing but closed it again.

“You’re an ass!” she finally managed to blurt out.

“Thanks”, he replied still grinning.

“Your not supposed to say thanks I was offending you!”

“Oh, really, sorry sweetie I was too busy staring into your beautiful eyes.”

“And don’t call me sweetie!”

“My bad, what would you prefer, baby face, cutie, angle?”

“None, you know what just fuck off! ”

“Well, if you insist…” Mike said reaching towards his belt buckle.

“Ugh! You sick bastard! ” She yelled shoving her taco in his face and running out of the lunch room.

Mike just sat there with a wide grin still on his face. “TARA, WAIT! ” Tre` yelled running after her. Tara went outside to the small butterfly garden the school had and sat on one of the benches with her head in her hands. She then felt some one side by her and she looked up to see Tre`.

“Hey”, she said glumly.

“What’s wrong? ” he asked concerned

Tara realized Tre` hadn’t heard any of her conversation   with mike because they were whispering.

“Mike, was being a perverted cocky ass. ”, she mumbled

“Tara, some guys have different ways of expressing they like a girl, then being all sweet and romantic. ”

“I noticed…”

“Come here”, Tre` said opening his arms and hugging Tara.

She sighed contently as he stroked her head.

“You like him too and you know you do you just don’t want to admit it. ”

She pulled away from his grasp. 

“I DO NOT! ”

“Do too. ”

“Not. ”

“Too. ”

Just then Billie walked up with a girl who had dark brown hair in dreads.

“Hey Guys” Billie said to Tara And Tre`.

“Hey Billie, hey Adie. ” Tara replied cheering up a bit.

“Where’s Mike? ” Billie asked.

“Who? ”, Adie replied confused.

“He’s new”

“Oh”

“Well speak of the devil. ”, Tara sighed, as Mike walked out of the lunchroom with little bits of taco meat still in his hair.

“Hey sweetie. ” Mike said winking at Tara “ Hey Guys. ”Mike said to the others, when he turned around Tara stuck her finger down her throat pretending to vomit. Tre` and Tara giggled quietly.

“RIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGG”

“Aww shit lunch is over. ”, Billie groaned, He kissed Adie and waited for Mike.

“See Ya later sweetie”, Mike said, before she could stop him his lips came crashing down on Tara’s for a sloppy kiss, she immediately pushed him away and wiped the spit off her mouth

“UCK GROSS! ”

Mike winked as he and Billie walked off to there next class…
