Only of You - Part 2 By Michelle Side Note: Read "Only of You" First! A few months later...
Meg woke up to the sound of her alarm clock. She turned on the radio and they were playing “crap music” as she liked to call it. It seems like forever since Meg heard a good song on the radio. She shuffled through the stations until she settled on one she liked. She pushed the sheets off her bed and rolled over. As she got to her feet she was looking around to find something decent to wear to work. Meg finally decided on a pair of bleached blue jeans and a red tang top, I mean she only worked at the local Burger King. It was about 7:45 A.M and she had sometime to grab a bite. She headed down the stairs and out of the house and into her junkie 82 chevy. The once was electric blue paint was fading away and rusty while it was chipping off the sides. One of the windows was cracked so she had a gray plastic bag over it. Once she started up the car the engine roared as she backed out of the drive way and into the nearest Denny’s. She sat down at one of the tables as a waitress assisted her.
“Hi, I’m Dani, how may I help you?”
“Uh….,”while flipping through the menu, “I would like the super Tuesday Special.” Said Meg
“Okay, I’ll get right on it.”
As Meg was going through her purse she found her cell phone and began to check her messages when all of a sudden someone sat down at her side. She looked to her left to see a familiar face smiling back.
“Hey, Billie, what the hell are you doing here?” Meg mumbled
“I’m so hung over right now and I didn’t feel like getting Tre to come over and make pancakes………..again………I don’t really feel like burning the house down either.”
Soon after the waitress brought Meg her order but she ignored it for a while as she was talking to Billie.
“OH SHIT, Billie I have to go, work starts in about 10 minutes. Come by my place around 6 okay?”
Billie nodded, “Okay”
Once Megs work shift was over at 5:45 P.M her initial reaction was to call Billie but she decided not to. She didn’t want to think she was stalking him or something. She really was starting to have feelings for Billie but she didn't know how to explain them. It was like Billie had some sort of control over her. Even though he hasn't made a move on her she was starting to think Billie felt the same way about her. She plopped herself on the couch while waiting for Billie. Lying down while flipping through the channels nothing was on. Meg fell into a daze dreaming of how her life would be if Billie was in it, dreaming— the door bell rang. Meg got to her feet and walked towards the door stumbling along the way.
“Coming.” She shouted.
Meg turned the door knob and pulled the door open.
“Hey!” Billie shouted with a beer can in his hand
“Hey…” Meg mumbled while yawning.
“Well are you going to let me in or are you just going to stand there?”
“Oh, yeah, right, come in.” Meg stuttered as she let Billie in
“What’s wrong with you, you look really sloshed.” Billie commented while taking a sip of his beer and laying back on the beat up couch.
“Well, I sort of fell asleep and well you know the rest.”
“You had sex with a guy?” Billie joked
“No, you moron.” Megan teased while hitting Billie on the shoulder lightly
Billie laughed and spilled a little beer on the floor as he leaned in closer to Meg.
Meg leaned was following Billie’s lead as he cupped her face with his hands and touched her lips lightly. Meg couldn’t complain. She knew she wanted Billie, and badly. She tried to open her mouth to speak but words wouldn’t come out. Before she knew it Billie pushed her onto the couch as he slowly leaned in and wrapped his arms around her waist. His lips pressed hers as she moaned loudly. They moved around on the couch breathing loudly they rolled around and suddenly Meg was on top. She slowly rid Billie as he passionately kissed her.
“You like this don’t you?” Meg asked
“Yeah… just a little” Billie Smiled.
“A little?”
“Okay………. A lot….”
“Thought so”
They continued to make love until they were interrupted by a phone call. Meg got off of Billie and ran into the kitchen to pick up the phone.
”Hello?”
“Hey Meg it’s me Adrienne, you got to get over here, something terrible happened!” Said Adrienne, her voice sounded hesitant and very upset “Ok Meg I’ll go get the sheets on the bed ready, not like they will stay that way after we are through…..”
Meg turned away from the phone, “Ok, you do that”
Meg turned her attention back to the phone “Where are you where’s all that noise coming from?”
“I’m at Gilman Street, anyways one of the guys from this band got really angry cause some people were booing his band and he decided to go on a rampage smashing his guitar everywhere and throwing the drummers drum sticks at everyone. He started a fist fight with this one guy and eventually everyone got in it. There’s a bunch of fighting here and you got to get me out of here!” Her voice was fading away among all the noise as she was trying to talk
“Ok, are the police there or what?”
“Yeah, but they can’t do anything you know how these gigs go. The ambulance is carrying away a few people right now. Just get your ass down here before I become one of those PEOPLE”
“Ok I’m going, I’m going. See you there, bye.”
“Bye.”
Meg hung up the phone and as she turned around Billie was right behind her. He wrapped his arms around her as his hands slowly crawled up her thighs until her ass was in his hands. Their lips locked together until Meg pushed him off and backed away slowly.
"Billie-- I can't, I have to go, and it’s just all too much." Meg was trying to think of the right words so Billie wouldn't take this the wrong way.
"What was that for? I thought we had something going here."
"Billie--"
"No, don't "Billie" me you teased me into me thinking that you liked ME too."
"Billie its not that it’s just--"
"What it's just what?"
Meg couldn't take this anymore, Billie was obviously taking this the wrong way, and she didn't want him to think she didn't like him anymore she broke down and started to cry.
"BILLIE JUST LISTENS TO ME. GOD YOU’RE TAKING THIS THE WRONG WAY!" Meg cried "My friends stuck down at Gilman Street and a huge fight broke out and she might get hurt and--"
"Oh my god, Billie said as he pushed up to the wall and had his hand on his face, "I'm so sorry. I just get really frustrated because all my relationships end this way, they always say, Billie I think we should see other people and I'm like what the hells wrong with me you know? Or then they pull the fucked up excuse, its not you... its me and--"
"BILLIE we don't have time! Come on!"
Meg grabbed Billie’s hand as she rushed out the door. Gilman Street was only a block away so they ran as fast as they could, pushing every person out of their way. Once they got their, it was a huge crime scene, reporters were everywhere there were specks of blood on the cracked side walk and people were being carried away in stretchers with oxygen masks on their faces. The cop cars lights were flashing in Meg's and Billie's face as they pushed through the crowd of people.
"Hey, BILLIE! Over here!"
Billie turned around and saw Mike was screaming his name over the crowd.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Billie shouted
"COME HERE BILLIE, YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!!"
Billie looked over his shoulder and he saw Tre was there as well.
"Stay, here!" Billie yelled out
Mike and Tre were waiting near the ambulance near a stretcher with a person on it.
"Yeah? What is this?" Billie said looking rather confused
"Take a closer look." Mike said
Billie leaned forward to get a better look of the face. He turned to Mike.
"Oh.... my fucking GOD! It's....it's.....it's..... ADRIENNE!" Billie shouted out
Billie took a closer look and started to break down.
"How, why, where, what happened??" Billie was panicking now.
"There was a huge fight and well, Adi got in it and she didn't hit anybody or anything she just got in the middle of it and people were just knocking everyone down in site, typical bar fight." Mike explained "And it had to happen to your ex-girl--"
"MIKE, TRE, CAN YOU GO? I need to be with Adi, just for a little bit."
"Ok, be with your EX-GIRLFRIEND, EX." Tre teased
"Adi, it’s going to be alright, you'll get out of this soon." Billie said as he put his hand on Adi’s forehead. He couldn't help it, he was tempted. He had to. He slowly leaned in and took off Adi's oxygen mask. He slowly pressed his lips up to hers and quickly put the mask back on. Adi's eyes began to open.
"Bill, Bill--ie?" murmured Adi
"BILLIE!" screamed Meg
Oh no, Meg must have saw, no this couldn't be happening, it was just a tiny kiss, just one kiss, no, no, he can't ruin another relationship with the one he started to fall for. Not again.
